Evoogic Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our business processes, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.
Last updated: . This policy covers evoogic.co.uk and the services described on it.
Evoogic Ltd (Company No. 15877403), registered in England & Wales, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We're based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and provide IT Managed Services, Cyber Essentials certification support, and related products (including CallConnect AI) to small and medium businesses.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@evoogic.co.uk or +44 (0) 7424 531844.
2.1 Information you give us directly. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send us — phone number and company name are optional fields you may choose to fill in. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.
2.2 Information collected automatically as you browse. When you visit any page on this site, we automatically log: the page you visited, the referring page or source (e.g. a search engine or a link you clicked), your device type (desktop, mobile or tablet, detected from your browser's user agent string), and an approximate country and city derived from your IP address. This is done without cookies or any third-party tracking script — it's a direct, first-party record on our own server, used only in aggregate for the analytics described in section 3. Your IP address itself is stored alongside this record but is not published or shared, and is used only for this location estimation and for identifying abuse (such as spam form submissions).
2.3 Information we hold and may publish about our own clients. With a client's explicit agreement, we may show an approximate representation of them on our public Coverage Map (evoogic.co.uk/about/areas-we-cover.html and similar pages) — this can include their business sector, the services we provide them, the general postcode district they're based in (never an exact address), and an optional short testimonial. A client's actual company name, an individual contact's name, and their job title are only ever shown publicly if that client has separately and explicitly approved it; by default, none of these three are displayed. A client can ask us to remove or amend this at any time by contacting us using the details in section 1.
This website does not currently use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. The only cookie in use is a strictly necessary session cookie set if you log into our staff admin area, which is exempt from cookie consent requirements as it's essential to a service you've actively requested. If this changes in future — for example, if we add a live chat tool that requires a cookie — we will update this policy and add a cookie consent mechanism before doing so.
To make the site work, your browser loads a small number of resources directly from third parties. Loading these means your IP address is visible to that third party as an ordinary consequence of your browser making the request — we don't control their data practices, but none of them are used by us for tracking or advertising:
Our GeoIP location lookup (used to estimate a visitor's country and city, as described in section 2.2) runs entirely on our own server against our own local database — it does not send your IP address to any third party at the time of your visit.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with external companies for their own marketing purposes. We only share personal data in the following limited circumstances:
We retain contact form submissions only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, or for the duration of our relationship if you become a client, plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal, accounting and record-keeping purposes. Automatically-collected visit data is kept for a limited rolling period sufficient for the analytics described in section 3 and is not retained indefinitely. Client information on our Coverage Map is retained until the client asks us to remove or amend it.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: request access to the personal data we hold about you; request that inaccurate data be corrected; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email info@evoogic.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
Some of the third-party services listed in section 5 may process data on servers located outside the UK. Where this occurs, it's limited to the ordinary technical operation of loading a font, script, or map tile in your browser, and does not involve us transferring your personal data to them for our own purposes.
This website and our services are intended for businesses and business contacts. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new feature that changes what data we collect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at info@evoogic.co.uk or +44 (0) 7424 531844.
